Tokaj Event Hall and Restaurant

At present, the centre of Tokaj is the pedestrian street in front of the Catholic Church, which we intend to extend and expand, by returning part of the site back to the town. The axis of the main entrance of the former Aranysas Hotel is marked out as a pathway, which allows for offsets and filters that lead to spaces and gardens of different uses, from the public town square, through the restaurant and event hall, to the private residences. The scale and orientation of the buildings are adapted to the environment, with the special feature of using limestone set in a mortar-cement mix on the core insulated wall structure, giving the buildings a unique appearance using a local material.
