The Ottlik-House appears as a pierced bastion of the Buda Castle. The mass of the building was shaped by the land, the urban fabric and the neighbouring buildings. Its only entrance is created by widening and perforating the existing opening of the retaining wall on the side of the Tunnel Street. The inner core of the two-layered tower-like mass will contain exhibition spaces displaying audiovisual and auditory content, while the outer layer will act as a walkway surrounding the core. Vertical transport will include the view of the spectators into different urban situations through large windows.
