The City History Museum is located in the medieval part of Cluj-Napoca, right next to the birthplace of King Matthias. The historical treasures and objects displayed in the building lie behind a perforated brick covering, which forms a fabric, thereby reflecting and connecting to the horizontally segmented facade structures of the surrounding buildings. The homogenous appearance of the building is broken up by the ribbon window on the ground floor and the arched main entrance, which also refers to the interior spaces of the building.
