The Esztergom, located along Batthyány Lajos Street. The busy road causes heavy noise pollution, so the street-facing ground floor façades are closed, built of wave-textured concrete, giving privacy while turning the building away from noise pollution. On the ground floor the kindergarten and office area are placed, separated by a shared kitchenette. The upper floor opens to the city, giving maximum daylight to the offices, while meeting rooms on the lower level form a protective buffer for the kindergarten, which occupies the most sheltered part of the site. The building mass follows the adjacent firewalls in height and form, integrating into the urban fabric. The co-kindergarten is organized around a rectangular inner garden that provides natural light for the forms pressed against the firewall.
