Music rehearsal centre

The proposed building is a music center in Kassa, that will provide opportunities for small-group or individual music practice and study, and will also be complemented by a small concert hall and a community space. The goal of my design program is to create a musical ensemble at the end of Moyzesova Promenade, together with the neighboring music-related buildings, providing a proper closure to this historic promenade. The design is divided into two main functional units: small music rehearsal rooms on the upper floor and community area on the ground floor. The ground-floor concert hall, with its flexible layout, is suitable for hosting various events, and can be opened up to the café and the garden next to the building, making it capable of accommodating larger events as well.
