Piles of vases, traditional costumes, textiles, folk furniture, and tools—it’s like exploring the attic of our grandparents’ country house. The expansion of one of the museum buildings in Székesfehérvár aims to create a natural home for those objects that are often 'cast out' by the sterile, white, light-flooded spaces of contemporary galleries. This high-roofed building, echoing the style of a traditional longhouse, hosts exhibitions in the attic, while the ground floor is dedicated to visitor areas like a gift shop and café, with service rooms located in the basement.
