Located on the main square of Aszód, next to the Town Hall and overlooking Podmaniczky Castle, the development responds to the irregular, asymmetrical shape of the site by dividing the programme into three separate building volumes, each accommodating a different function. A shared garden space is created between the buildings, connecting the various functions and providing a place for users to meet and relax. The height and footprint of each building are determined by the spatial requirements of the functions they contain. The articulated forms respond to the scale and orientation of the surrounding buildings while also creating more favourable daylight and shading conditions. Variations in the façade cladding further break down the larger volumes, reducing their perceived height and visual weight.
